Sally Goldsmith is poet, songwriter and scriptwriter. Her pamphlet Singer was a winner in the 2008 Poetry Business Pamphlet Competition, chosen by Michael Longley. A first full collection, Are We There Yet?, was published by Smith/Doorstop in 2013. She is also published in The Poetry Review, Poetry News, The North, Magma, MsLexia and the 2006 Arvon International Poetry Competition anthology. Collaborations on plays and features for BBC Radio 4 have also won prizes, including two Sony Radio Awards. She is currently working on a script in verse for the Crucible Theatre. Her poem, ‘Thaw’, was commended in the National Poetry Competition 2012.
