Patricia Childerhouse is a lifelong lover of poetry but teaching A-level Eng Lit for twenty years put her off trying to write any. Now in her crone-age she is having a go and enjoying it. Her book Twenty Sussex Walks was published by Snake River Press when her surname was Bowen. She has had one poem accepted by Magma (Film Edition) and several of her poems have appeared in small anthologies. She lives in Brighton near to three generations of family. She is inspired by the natural world, including humans, and spends a good deal of time on her allotment.
