Several of Leah’s short stories and poems have been shortlisted for the Bridport Prize and she has been longlisted in the National Poetry Competition; and published in Poetry News. She has an MA in (prose) Creative Writing from Birkbeck, University of London but crossed the waters to poetry before her daughter was born. She has almost completed her debut pamphlet, about the subconscious, sleep and dreams. This autumn she restarts her studies in psychotherapy and hypnotherapy as she works towards becoming a Mindfulness of Sleep and Dreams teacher. She lives in Norfolk with her partner, and three year old ‘sleep thief’, who has inspired many of her poems.
