David Morley is an ecologist by background whose research focussed on acid rain in the Lake District. His poetry collections, all from Carcanet, include The Gypsy and the Poet, Enchantment, The Invisible Kings and Scientific Papers. David is known for poetry installations within natural landscapes: ‘slow poetry’ sculptures and I-Cast poetry films. His podcasts are among the most popular creative writing downloads on iTunes worldwide. He was one of the judges of the 2012 T.S. Eliot Prize and judged the 2013 Foyle Young Poets of the Year. He teaches at Warwick University and is adjunct Professor at Monash University, Melbourne.
