Sheila Schofield wrote for and edited numerous publications throughout her career in the charity sector. She started writing poetry about 20 years ago and has contributed to several anthologies. She uses poetry extensively in her professional practice; training teachers in creative learning. On moving to Treignac in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France, Sheila became co-founder of Limousin Laureates which organises creative courses, including a residential workshop tutored by Roger McGough. Out of this grew The Poetry Society’s Treignac Stanza. Sheila is currently working on a collection for publication which builds on the themes of fairytale, legend and myth.
