Peter LaBerge

Peter was a commended Foyle Young Poet in 2012, and is commended in the Timothy Corsellis Prize 2019. His conversation with fellow Foyle Young Poet Margot Armbruster is published on Young Poets Network, as part of The Poetry Society’s celebrations of 20 years of the Foyle Young Poets of the Year Award.

Peter is the author of the chapbooks Makeshift Cathedral (YesYes Books, 2017) and Hook (Sibling Rivalry Press, 2015). He is the recipient of a 2020 Pushcart Prize for Poetry, and his recent work appears in AGNIBest New PoetsCrazyhorseKenyon Review OnlinePleiadesTin House, and elsewhere. He is the founder and editor-in-chief of the Adroit Journal and the founder of the Adroit Journal Summer Mentorship Program, and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with his B.A. in English.
