Marilyn Longstaff

Marilyn Longstaff lives in Darlington and is a member of Vane Women, a writing performing and publishing collective (www.vanewomen.co.uk). In 2003 she received a Northern Promise Award, and in 2005 completed her MA in Creative Writing at Newcastle University. In 2011 she was one of the three featured poets in New Writing North’s Read Regional campaign. She is published in a range of magazines and anthologies.

She is the author of three poetry collections: Puritan Games (2001), Sitting Among the Hoppers (2004) and Raiment (2010). Her new collection, Articles of War will be published by Smokestack Books in 2017.
