Helen Mort

Helen Mort was born in Sheffield. Her first full-length collection, Division Street (Chatto & Windus, 2013) was shortlisted for the Costa Prize and the T.S. Eliot Prize and, in 2014, won the Fenton Aldeburgh Prize. Her latest collection is No Map Could Show Them (Chatto & Windus, 2016). Helen is a five times winner of Foyle Young Poets of the Year. In 2014 she was chosen as one of the Poetry Book Society’s Next Generation Poets. She is the Douglas Caster Cultural Fellow at The University of Leeds and has a PhD from The University of Sheffield.
