Gill Learner

Gill Learner was born in 1939 near Birmingham and now lives in Reading. Having worked in the printing trade, she then taught printing studies. Since beginning to write poetry in 2001 she has won the Poetry Society’s Hamish Canham Prize in 2008 and the Buxton poetry competition (2011). Her first collection, The Agister’s Experiment, (2011) was published by Two Rivers Press.
